How to book your sauna experience

Please note that the person making the booking must make sure that his/her group comply with the sauna policies. 

✓ Sauna Med Sjarm is a self-service sauna

✓ A code for the door lock will be sent to your email 1 hour prior to your booked session. You can now enter and heat up the sauna if there is no guest prior to your booking. This will take approx. 40-60minutes. Remember to check the calendar in due time to find out whether you need to arrive early to achieve your desired heat level. 

✓ The sauna must be locked and left in good condition and in due time, that is before your booked hour(s) come to an end. 

✓ The door must be properly closed using the padlock when you leave. The padlock is digital and the person who made the booking will be logged and held responsible for any incidents until the sauna is left and locked. 

✓ All sessions are private unless otherwise stated, e.g. "Fellessauna" or other events

✓ Any extra guests must be paid for by Vipps at arrival. Vipps number is #777806 For example: Did you book the session with a 1 person ticket, but decided to bring your friend to the sauna? If so your friend must buy the extra ticket by Vipps at arrival. Quantity discount is only offered when such ticket is bought online when booking the sauna. 

✓ Do not overfire the stove. Use approx. 4-5 logs at first, or a half-full chamber, then place 1–2 logs in the stove at a time to maintain your desired heat level. If you need more oxygen to boost the fire the ash drawer can be pulled out a few centimetres. Apart from such a short boost both ash drawer and the oven door must be closed during and after your sauna session. 

✓ The indoor water jar can be refilled using the rain water tank on the patio by the entrance door

✓ If you wish to use essential oils, mix a few drops into the small water jar  – never pour oils directly onto the stones

✓ The sauna is dimensioned for maximum 8 people at a time, including one wheelchair user.

✓ All children between the age of 10 and 18 years must be accompanied by an adult. If you are letting your children join you in the sauna, remember that young bodies cannot regulate heat as well, and sauna sessions should thus be kept shorter than for adults. Children's tickets are at a discount (NOK 100,-). 

✓ Remember to bring swimwear, a towel to sit on, a drinking bottle with water, and water shoes (optional).

✓ Drinking alcohol in public is illegal in Norway, and alcohol is not permitted in Sauna Med Sjarm

✓ Toilets are situated nearby the parking lot

✓ Sauna Med Sjarm is located in beautiful surroundings at a public outdoor recreation area. Please be considerate and keep the noise to a minimum

✓ You need to book your session using our Norwegian booking system. (Choose the Norwegian flag on top right corner and click on the "Log In" button below the price list)
